Request, scope, build, launch
Four stages, in order.
- You send a request through this site and it goes to a service partner.
- The partner agrees scope with you and quotes directly.
- With access to your accounts, the partner builds the campaigns, pages and tracking you agreed.
- After your sign-off, campaigns launch and reporting starts on the schedule in your agreement.
What to prepare before scoping
None of this needs to be polished. Notes are fine.
- A short description of your typical customer
- Offers you want to promote, with any terms or limits
- Existing ad accounts and who owns them
- Your website platform, such as WordPress, Webflow or Squarespace
- Any current tracking: tags, pixels, call tracking numbers
- Where inquiries go today and who follows them up
- A rough monthly ad budget
If an account was opened by someone else
Sometimes the ad account was created by a previous provider, in their name, under their manager account. Before new work starts, move ownership to your business. That usually means asking the previous provider to make you an admin, or to unlink the account so you can claim it. Pixels and tag containers can have the same problem. A partner can help you work through it, though the request has to come from you as the owner. Once the accounts sit in your name, the partner works in them as an invited user, and you can remove them whenever you like.
Ending the arrangement
Arrangements end for ordinary reasons: a season finishes, budgets change, or you bring the work in-house. Check the notice period in your agreement and give it in writing. Before the partner leaves, ask for a handover note covering campaign structure, conversion actions, tags and any tools on their account. Then remove their user access from your ad, analytics and tag accounts. Campaigns and data stay where they are, so whoever takes over next starts from the same history. If campaigns should keep running in the meantime, agree who watches spend until the handover is done.
Not sure where to start? Describe your offer and current tools, and a service partner will ask the right questions.
